Paris Fashion Week Spring 2012 Couture | Christian Dior
Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week kicked off today and Bill Gaytten, interim designer at Christian Dior, presented a pretty (and safe) 1950s-esque collection with silhouettes that paid homage to the early days of the fashion house while combining textures & embellishment that still kept the looks fresh. It was nice to see them go “back to basics” after the less than stellar F/W 2011 Couture collection.
I just feel like christian dior gets me. the clothes would probably look like shit on me, but I love the whole aesthetic.
